Qualisteo, the Nice-based company that is reducing energy bills in response to government requests to tackle soaring prices

Qualisteo didn’t wait for the surge in energy prices or for government demands to start helping professionals—especially industrial players—reduce their energy bills by 10%. Since its creation in 2010, the Nice-based startup has been advocating for energy efficiency with one key principle: the best energy is the one you don’t consume.
"We didn’t wait for the energy crisis to become energy-efficient. Last year, our clients saved an average of 9.87% on their energy bills,” says Elodie Bondi, CEO of Qualisteo. “We focus on achieving savings without investment, by identifying ‘free’ sources of savings. This typically results in 10% savings within 3 months, thanks to our technology that is deployed extremely quickly.” Today, electricity prices are skyrocketing, and as Qualisteo points out, “it has almost become a management failure for business leaders not to have a system for monitoring and controlling energy in order to reduce their bills as quickly as possible.”
To help its clients save money, Qualisteo installs intelligent metering systems that allow real-time visualization of energy consumption and the identification of savings opportunities. These systems, and the artificial intelligence algorithms they include, have been recognized with the European Innovation Award.
The company from the French Riviera has experienced exponential growth since the beginning of 2022, with even greater acceleration since the summer—directly linked to the unprecedented increase in energy costs. Unfazed, Qualisteo has decided to triple its operational space, double its staff, and increase its production capacity to meet demand.
And Qualisteo isn’t stopping there... “We’re exporting our solution more and more—today, over 30% of our revenue comes from outside France,” says Elodie Bondi. “We’re even planning to open offices abroad within the next 12 months to respond to requests from our international clients.”
