EVA : Innovation Project Funded by the European Union and the Southern Region

Overall Objective: to develop an innovative research project for designing a smart meter that has the potential to revolutionize the business model for energy demand management.

The goal of the EVA project, led by Qualisteo, is to enable the widespread adoption of technology dedicated to energy efficiency.

As a comprehensive energy management system compliant with ISO 50001 standards and equipped with smart grid communication capabilities, the solution developed through this project enables:

  • Comprehensive Energy Mapping of buildings, based on past billing data and a remote audit conducted after installation and collection of initial detailed measurements.
  • Focused Recommendations for Cost Savings through straightforward actions that require no capital investment. Based on our experience, savings of 15–30% can be achieved within weeks and sustained through simple monitoring of detailed consumption data.
  • Detailed Dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ongoing monitoring and optimization of energy use.
This project is part of a broader energy transition effort, aiming to:
  • Significantly Reduce Energy Consumption by 15–30% in professional buildings and cut CO2 emissions outside France.
These efforts address electricity as well as other utilities like gas and water.
  • Sustain Initial Savings Over Time through the implementation of a continuous optimization process.
  • Encourage Businesses to Adopt the ISO 50001 Approach in anticipation of upcoming regulatory requirements.

This project is funded by the European Union. Europe is committed to Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur through the European Regional Development Fund.
