MEDEE
Innovation project funded by the European Union and the South Region
Overall objective: Optimisation and prediction of industrial process consumption to make energy demand connected and efficient
Global R&D project – prototyping/testing of the innovative technology in a real-life situation prior to market launch and commercialisation
In a changing global energy environment, energy efficiency is becoming the most valuable source of energy, the “First Fuel”. Energy efficiency currently contributes to 40% of the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, with renewable energies coming second with 30%.
The objective of the MEDEE project is to develop a tool/solution for the energy management of industrial production sites, by identifying multi-energy consumption and the potential for optimising energy performance by exploiting energy data correlated with production data, and by implementing consumption prediction scenarios. The MEDEE project will be based on a double innovation: hardware and software.
This project is funded by the European Union. Europe is committed in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur with the European Regional Development Fund.
